I’m a Steiner educator of many years . Working with parents, communication, connection and emotional well-being of people is close to my heart.
I arrived in New Zealand a little over 27 years ago after teaching one year in my home country Finland, where I also did my Steiner kindergarten training.
I’m married and have three adult bonus children, two bonus grandchildren and two biological children; the youngest still being at our school.
I’m very excited to branch off from classroom teaching to Te Ara Sophia to offer support and empowerment of families and individuals on their journey throughout life.
Whether it’s everyday life, big transitions ( new baby, moving, separation, illness , new teacher etc. ) or one of life’s big thresholds ; birth or death, I promise to provide a safe, respectful, authentic, confidential and peaceful space to explore and support you and what is next for you and your family/relationships.
